Original capture on photographic negative (FILM)

Death Valley, CA is a surprising place. Although death is the operative word there is plenty of life out there, some of it human. The town of Shoshone is a pleasant rest stop on the way into Death Valley Monument. This 1937 Chevy is parked outside of the Shoshone Museum. There is an Internet Café in town as well. These old rusted out vehicles scream defiance as they slowly rot away in the harsh environment. “Do not go gentle into that good night.”
